About Finacing
Finacing is a small set of calculators for everyday money decisions: what a loan will cost, how quickly a debt can be cleared, how savings grow. Each one shows the formula it uses, the assumptions it makes and every row of the schedule behind its result, so you can check the numbers yourself.
What the calculators are for
Planning and understanding. They answer questions such as “what will this loan cost in total?” or “what happens if I pay an extra $100 a month?” before you speak to a lender or make a decision. They are not financial advice, and they don’t know your full situation.
How the calculations are built
Every calculator starts as a written specification: its inputs, formulas, rounding rules and edge cases. The calculation is then written twice, independently: once for the website and once as a separate reference using exact decimal arithmetic. Automated tests compare the two line by line, and each calculator is checked against at least one established calculator from another publisher. The Methodology page explains the process in detail.
What stays on your device
The calculations run in your browser. The numbers you type aren’t sent to us or stored on our servers. When you use “Copy link”, your numbers go in the part of the address after the # sign, which browsers don’t send to websites. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Limits
Results are estimates based on the assumptions listed on each calculator’s page. Lenders, banks and card issuers may calculate differently, for example by charging interest daily, and fees, taxes and insurance are only included where a calculator says so. Always check your own loan documents and statements. See the Disclaimer.

Corrections
If you think a result is wrong, please tell us and include the link from the calculator’s “Copy link” button, so we can see exactly what you entered. Confirmed errors are fixed, and the calculator’s review date is updated.
